Postoperative treatment
Scope of application of postoperative treatment
This term refers to a summary of all important post-operative measures, such as scar care, manual lymph drainage to facilitate wound healing, manual therapy to restore optimal joint and muscle function, strengthening the muscles and also relearning of one’s everyday tasks e.g. due to damage of nerve tracts.
The direct post-operative treatment is often needed by elderly in particular
which depend on home visits.
